Phoenician Drive is a six piece band born in Brussels' cultural maelstrom. At the crossroads of psychedelic rock and Middle Eastern, North-African or Mediterranean musical traditions, their compositions often feel as epic rock sagas where drums and fuzzy guitars meet with Eastern string folk instruments and percussions. These teasers, on the contrary, offer a tongue in cheek portrait of the musicians at their most human behind-the-scenes moments at the recording studio.

We enter the recording room with the anticipation of seeing Matthieu's masterful performance of... a cheese grater?

Diego's brushes green leaf plant pots as percussions while Valerian, Matthieu & Joaquín reconnect with their primate heritage on their vocals.

Martin Rault also summoning ancient heritage sounds: the earliest archaeological evidence of cow bells dates back to more than 5000 years ago in Neolithic China.

Valerian's vocal research: do I sing better while holding a tea bag with my lips?

Reaching perfection takes many takes. Let's try again. And again. And again...
